Visited with friend and their family. Second visit in last few months. Had fish and chips last time (delicious). Thought I'd try something different this time and had the Ox liver- really well cooked. Came with mash, cabbage and bacon and a lovely gravy. Friends had steak and ale pie, cod and sea bass. All empty plates. Staff are lovely and friendly.

What a lovely restaurant, with gorgeous seafront views. The staff are all wonderful, so friendly & helpful. We met the new owners, Kim & Jane, who only took it over a few days before... they're certainly doing an excellent job so far! I wish them continued success - they deserve it. We ordered the cod & chips & the vegetable pie - both were delicious. With a disabled toilet & everything on one level, it was perfect for wheelchair users, too. We will be back, for sure.

Fine dining on the sea front at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended gorgeous food with the highlights being the tiger prawns and cod.

Amazing food and good service. Very reasonably priced, loved the atmosphere in here and the staff were extremely kind. The quality of the food is so fresh and the presentation is stunning

First time trying this restaurant. Really good food and good price. We went on a Wednesday lunch time. Fairly quiet but nice service and hot food. The fish is lovely.

Went here for an early pre-show meal on a Thursday evening. Absolutely delicious food. We both had 3 courses, and each course was faultless. We loved the restaurant before the change in management, and the food remains excellent. Very friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended.

Welcoming staff. Very accommodating- we called to say we were caught in traffic so would be late and they were brilliant. Food was excellent, big portions and lovely and hot. Only had main as needed to get to our show. Decor smart, clean and modern. New manager was excellent - friendly and attentive. New owner was there chatting to customers. Definitely will go back. Group of 8 went for a very pleasant afternoon meal. We had a range of dishes and drinks, from the menu. Fish, pies, meat, desserts. All of which were very well cooked. The ambience of the place is nice and the staff were attentive and polite. Sadly, the inclement weather meant the views were not quite what they could have been, I would think the views would be great on a nice day, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. I would definitely go back again. It is a great location for a meal and drinks before going to the Cliffs Pavillion.
